Cellphone Signal Extender
A recommendation by eliztbone
eliztbone's recommendation
A great addition to a home or office space where cell phone signal is at a minimum. Set this up near a window and your cell phone will go from 1 bar to several preventing dropped and garbled calls. Various models are available to work with just about all the major cell phone carriers except nextel.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas a couple of years ago, since he always had to go outside to use his cell phone at our house, or his call would invariably drop at some point during a conversation.
It works like a charm once you find the right spot in your house/office for it.

I have never have full service in my house. I have 2 bars if i lay my phone in a very specific part on my nightstand. I always wondered if they had signal extenders, and this is the first time ive seen one. I might just buy this.

My best friend needs this, pronto, so that she can stop blaming her avoiding my calls on her bad reception. Really though, I know so many people with apartments in LA who after moving in, just have no reception and there's nothing they can do about it. Except with this, there is. Up your reception so that you no longer have to go out in the cold to talk to your friends and family. Nice.

This is a great device that will give you relief from bad reception in those dead areas. Some individuals report going from 1 to 5 bars after using this device. Just position the console near a window and connect it to the base unit using the included coaxial cable.
