I'm not a big fan of wire brushes, since they can cause my dog discomfort. The solution? A dual-sided brush, with thick bristles on one side and rounded pins on the other. My dog absolutely loves rounded pin brushes -- she thinks she's getting a massage -- and the bristle side is good for smoothing and taking care of shedding problems.
