These are the chalk markers they use at Starbucks and Whole Foods Market. They work like paint pens but look like chalk. It's an artist palette of 28 colors. The best thing is on non porous surfaces, they come off with water. We love love love them and use them everywhere! (We invented them). We gave some to Pamela Anderson in Vegas who said she would use them on the mirrors of her hotel room!

I love these chalk markers, I used them to paint my shoes for the TOMS Style your Sole event and they worked great. The TOMS I used are cloth probably canvas, I am guessing. Well, they worked great in this application too. Being a porous surface, this is a more permanent use of the product, which is what I wanted.
What is great about this use of the product?... Dries really fast, but still had time to blend the colors. Most times when you use fabric paint or pens, they take a while to dry, or at least this has been my experience. But not these! They dry just right!
I have also used the Chalk Ink markers for their original intended purpose and love them. I think everyone would enjoy using them from Moms and kids at home, to small and large retail shops.
