Stayed at this buddhist (theravada) temple here for two days. Lived mostly in silence, and was the only non-thai person there. Was treated so kindly even though I was a foreigner. If you want time for meditation, peace, tranquility, and to get more in touch with nature, I recommend this temple. It is not commercial, and its not a meditation center, this is for hardcore getting up at 4am to meditate people. you have to really want to be there to enjoy it.
Go to the main office on the right once you arrive at the temple, contact Ms. Pukki. She speaks good english, she will give you a mat to sleep on and white robes that you must wear at all times. They are quite flexible with their rules because they know you are a foreigner.
Please give a donation at the end, the monks do not work, and live on alms.
Oh, only 1 meal a day (and go to the breakfast line and get that honey thing they make, its actually really good, and the green drink they make in the afternoons).

Directions: From Bangkok take "Chao Phraya Express Boat" to Nonthaburi. Cross the river with the ferry and take the red pick up truck (last one in the row) to Wat Sanghathan.PS: stay is free, but please donate.
