These high-tech goggles use electronic optic technology, originally developed for Air Force pilots, to instantly adjust the tint of the lens at the touch of a button to adapt to the changing outdoor light conditions. A thin layer of liquid crystals are in between a double lens and when a low dose of voltage is applied, they switch from light to dark in as little as 1/10th of a second.
