a completely frivolous purchase reserved for the true design freak, these chairs look as if they've landed from outer space, and a planet similar, but not quite the same as ours. cool idea, great piece, hefty price tag. but you know you want to.

I distinctly remember the Eames chairs. We had them in school. However, I don't think I've ever actually seen an Eames Rocking Chair. Maybe we were too poor to even know what they were. Either way, this vintage piece is not only awesomely unique, it's surely comfortable.

I've had my eye on these Eames rocking chairs for a while. Great for a kids room. (via Pedlars)
