The Woofer Speaker System definitely has more bark than bite. These unique subwoofers are based on the ultimate woofers, yes man's best friend, the canine. Designed and custom engineered by Buro Vormkrijgers, these set of two dog-shaped co-axial speakers crank out 60watt - 180 watts RMS, 4 ohm impedance and will either compliment your home theater decor or make it look like it went to the dogs. I'm not sure if this is for people who really love dogs, or really hate them -- but regardless, it's a fun addition to your home theater. Anything this kitschy probably won't sound as good as you'd like, however, if you put two headless dogs in your living room, you can't be THAT worried about sound quality. (via Popgadget)

woof - fun, functional and cool
Description

Speakers are usually exiled to the upper reaches of our ceilings and shelves, or tucked into the corners of our rooms, but this pair can stand just as well as a centerpiece - or guard your front door. In keeping with my fascination with creepy-chic (and apparently white porcelain), I love these standing headless dog speakers by Buro Vormkrijgers. The simply engineered coaxial system, combined with the bizarrely beautiful dead-dog design, makes this set perfect for the discerning Transylvanian Count and the audiophile with an ex in PETA.
