A good pen is paramount to ensuring a good letter. Fountain pens write so beautifully that your chicken scratchings automatically look more refined. Also, the ends are perfect for nibbling when pondering what to say next, provided you don't bite so hard that they explode. These are beautiful, and so that would be a travesty.
