We got this toy from a friend, who is wonderful. Its hard to buy for my family. I have to keep plastics away...and Christmas can be brutal. (and it makes me feel like a MEAN MOM!)

Its not the beautiful Waldorf thingy. I think....meh. But its non-toxic, wood, built by a company with a safe track record and a green philosophy. My son loves it. He is the end critic. The little man in the set is sheer genius, a bit small, I've hidden him for a bit, because of my 1 year old. But he sits and stands and is the perfect size to fit into many other toys. My son loves the computer and the little cars. (He has no matchbox cars....they are all made in China as far as I've found.)

Its a small and simple set. So it works with limited space. And it isn't plastic, although there is a tiny piece of acrylic for the 'computer'. And its sturdy. Here's the rundown from Plan Toys
