  Blackspots are hot shoes, almost as good as Chucks but not quite there. They are also vegetarian, with 100% organic hemp uppers, and built in a Union shop in Portugal that pays up to twice the standard monthly Portugese wage. Blackspot is a for-profit company, which helps support the Adbusters' anti-consumerism campaigns. Maybe that's awesome, maybe it's total BS, or maybe it's a bit of both. ($78 at Adbusters store)

  Nike bought converse, and all the trendy kids moved on and bought Blackspot shoes. Supported by Adbusters, this shoe is made completely out of recycled and other materials that you wont feel guilty wearing! Popular for a reason..
