Classic meets new. Beautiful 12 spire pendant lamp with silk-like resin cocoon over it. Very startling form, but looks to diffuse light wonderfully.

Great light for a special room

Inspired by the "Cocoon" series of lighting by Tobia Scarpa and Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, 1960-61. You can certainly see the cocoon influence. The bulbs appear to be ready to break out, like a butterfly.

Can the combo of Flos and Marcel Wanders produce anything that I don't desperately want?
This is a high-drama chandelier (43 inches in diameter) which would make a massive statement in any room. Large lighting fixtures like this can be the right thing in a small room to add punch.

Details:
Transparent 'candles' on white powder-coated steel makes up the chandeliers inner frame, and a unique 'cocoon' resin create the diffuser.
A faceted crystal globe is also included at the lower center for a sparkle effect.
