Even peace lovers like myself find it hard to resist a charming smile. The atmosphere of the early 2000's is charged with symbols of power and of ultra-violence. What I find interesting about the killer designer products produced in during 2007 is the obvious humor crafted into skulls and bone rubber pirate ducks, diamond crusted automatic toy guns, camo covered Christmas ornaments, and even cute gold plated bullets. During the dot com boom, where everyone was moving up your older brother lived off of the cool knowing wink of ironic statements, but now we all need something much stronger to take our minds off our crumbling bliss--so this time laughter is the game, the cake is a lie and humor is what sets the new toys from the old guard.
