This is a must-have for anyone who has trouble staying organized. They are huge, so a great many things will fit inside, and they are see-through, so you can tell what's in there. Also, since they close tightly, you can use them to store things in the basement or garage that you otherwise might worry would get moisture damage.

If someone is coming over to visit and the house is a mess, just stuff all the clutter into these and take them to the basement. If you don't get around to bringing them back up for a while, nothing gets mildewed. And when you need to use something again, you can see which bag it's in.

Of course, those of us with Attention Deficit Disorder may forget to look in the basement . . .

Keep all your tiniest and most easy to lose supplies all in one Ziploc Big Bag! Your drawers and boxes could be littered with memorabilia or knickknacks you've collected from anywhere, but not being in their place can lead them to nowhere! Safe and economical a perfect way to store anything!

These bags are amazing! I had to pack, move and unpack, a single family home 700 miles (no children, but a pet who's got enough stuff to count as at least half of one) with a very tight budget (_maybe_ $1000 spent total), in under two weeks. I got a coupon for the XXL Ziploc BigBags, bought a box of three, and found more uses for it than I could have anticipated. Now, all of my winter clothes, extra towels, winter coats/scarves, extra cables/cords, and even some important papers are stored in their own Ziploc BigBags!

They are:

- Flexible: Any shape can fit in -- you could fill them horizontally or with edges/angles that appear to be opposing the construct of the bag -- but it works! the edges don't split!
- Durable: Eeven sharp boot heels didn't punch through, and my dog's nails can puncture anything -- not these!
- Space-Saving: you can cram so much into them, and then suck the air out -- quick and easy vacuum-packing.
- Good for attic/basement storage: They seal just like regular Ziploc bags, so moisture concerns are nil, and temperature concerns are no different than any other plastic storage container, except that, perhaps, since these are see-through, there may be fewer concerns about heat being trapped in the containers.
- Easy to clean!!! I have used them, for example, for packing toiletries or kitchen containers that might spill, so as to contain the mess. If they get dirty, you can just rinse the bag out in the sink and leave it to dry. My mom even used a large size BigBag to freeze a whole turkey -- and then just cleaned it with soap and hot water afterwards to use the bag for some other purpose!
- Label-able: There's a space for you to just write on, or you can add a simple sticky label -- and the label sticks. Regular scotch tape will stick to the plastic, as will masking tape.

I'm a fan of ziploc bags. Great many uses. The BIG trick is to use your vacuum cleaner to suck out the air. Pillows, blankets, sweaters end up 1/2 to 1/10 the original size. I'm not kidding you. Try it, you'll be giddy. (via LisaJay)
