A wonderful rice cooker is you want to take a swing at making a traditional bento - or just some well cooked rice.

Mine has all the bells and whistles including a timer so I can set it when i go to bed and have fresh rice ready for breakfast! I prefer the ones where the lid clamps down. They make the best rice.

I own this... It's the best ever, and it keeps rice warm and fresh. It's super easy to use also

A huge part of your stir fry is the rice you serve with it. I always like to serve brown rice because it has more fiber than white rice, but either one is tasty. This rice cooker ensures perfect rice (any type you prefer), keeps it warm while you are wokking away, and has a nonstick bowl for easy serving. A must for serious stir-fryers!

Just got one for my birthday and it's every bit as amazing as people say it is. I made rice on the stove for years after my $20 rice cooker died. Now I don't think I could ever go back. Fresh rice when I get home from work. Congee in the morning when I wake up. Yum!

Great! A new audience for me to rave about the wonders of the neuro fuzzy rice maker... everyone else is tired of hearing me go on and on and on about how wonderful it is. Yes, it's the top of the line and it is worth it. It makes perfect rice, you can set it to go in the morning and have it ready when you wake up, or keep it warm for hours if your family eats in shifts... I bought a rice cooker cook book to go with the cooker. Who knew you could cook so many things in a rice cooker other than just plain old white rice????? And it sings to you when it's done!!!

I could go on and on about it :>
