The genius minds at Cooking Light never fail to astound me with their ability to make the most richest, delicious entrees lower in fat. But that's not the only reason I read the magazine. I find their choices to be highly creative and usually, very enlightening. Over the years, I've discovered great new ingredients -- pomegranate molasses, aji peppers, Nigella seeds. Cooking Light isn't afraid to focus on unusual ingredients, but they do not pick things that are hard to find in a regular grocery store. Their recipes are geared to fit a healthy diet, so if you want a little more salt, you can throw in some extra salt or butter if need be. But overall, Cooking Light is a great guide for every day healthy eating.

I also like their focus on wine and how it fits into a healthy lifestyle.
