"I'm delighted you have survived another night. May I add my own congratulations to the roar of the world's approval? Thank you, sir."

Begin your day with the cool new and exquisitely proper Good Morning Sir - Talking Alarm Clock ($70). Rather than waking to the sounds of deafening bells, sirens and beeps, this one awakens you to the sounds of gentle birdsong, followed by a discreet cough, then the words "Good morning, Sir" and then finally a message from the charming, dry and proper Englishman, Stephen Fry, who reprises his role as Jeeves, a gentleman's gentleman. This classical alarm clock features substantial wood housing, hand finished with a black laquer, a glass front to protect the hands, a light for late-night time checks and high-spec voice chips for superior voice quality. Jeeves has around 130 or so different sayings, which is more than enough to have a new one every single morning for six months, before they start repeating. It also includes a 90 second restful call for sleep when its time to retire for the evening. Brilliant! (via Michael Kiely)

A gentler way to face the day. Stephen Fry, reprising his role as Jeeves (a 'gentlemen's gentlemen' from the TV series "Jeeves and Wooster") will wake you in his inimitable way with over 130 sayings. Some examples:

# It appears to be morning. Very inconvenient, I agree. I believe it is the rotation of the Earth that is to blame, Sir.

# Let us seize the day and take it roughly from behind, as the Colonel used to say in his unfortunate way.

# Your horoscope is promising very considerable profit and equal quantities of pleasure. The world merely requires your presence for the process to begin.

# The world has been very anxious to hear from you for the last eight hours. Shall I inform the news agencies you're about to rise, Sir?

# I feel sure you have slept soundly, feel thoroughly refreshed, and await the day with the anticipation of an energetic gazelle.

The clock face features roman numerals to fit the theme. There is also a 10 minute 'calm down' exercise also with Mr Fry's voice; it is a combination of a 10-1 countdown with new age background music.

There is a 'Madam' version available as well, so don't feel left out :)

A must for the P.G. Wodehouse fan!
