The Hunger Site will fund 50.0 cups of food for each set of Tunisian Square Sauce Dishes purchased.

Rich rose and clay tones combine with traditional North African geometrical patterns to bring the magic of Tunisian ceramics to vibrant life. All of these dishes were handmade and hand-painted by Tunisian artisans on the sunny Mediterranean coast -- where Tunisian ceramic art is an ancient, world-famous tradition.

Examples of North African ceramics have been found dating as far back as the early Neolithic period. An interesting aspect of production is that the pottery was traditionally turned by men and then hand-finished by women.

This set of four sauce dishes can be used for side dishes, appetizers, or condiments. Each dish measures 4" square x 1" deep (10 cm x 2.5 cm).

All of our Tunisian Ceramics are 100% handmade and individually hand-painted so slight variances will occur from piece to piece. Tunisian Ceramics are all food- safe, dishwasher-safe, and lead-free. Ceramic pieces can be used for up to five minutes in a microwave oven and can be placed in an oven up to 300 degrees for light cooking or reheating. No stovetop heating. Fair trade imported.
