I suppose it's my strong Anglo-Catholic roots that make me fall in love with catholic emblems like this, or perhaps it's just because they are beautiful. Either way, you have to admit it would be pretty cool to pull this out of a book while reading in a coffeehouse. I might buy this the next time I'm at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to make up for the fact that I always give a "donation" of about a quarter to get in.
