This is the most amazing necklace I have ever seen. It is inspired by Empress Matilda, who was the rightful heir to the English throne in 1135, until her cousin Stephen took it over because the public wasn't so fond of a woman being their ruler. Matilda, however, never stopped fighting and Stephen eventually had to accept her son Henry II as his heir. Matilda's descendents then ruled England for the next three centuries. Hooray! The sword is a symbol of her perservering fight fo rjustice. Made of 18K white gold, it can be pulled out of its 18K yellow gold scabbard. Accents of sapphires and rose-cut diamonds finalize this peice and make it one of my all time favorites.
