Fans of really mundane '80s pop culture and/or people willing to cop to being in their 30s might remember a bland brand of food and clothing pushed by a supermarket chain I can't remember in the '80s. Items featured white packaging, understated sans-serif blue font that displayed the type of product ("pretzels" or "t-shirt," for example), and a blue strip for detail. (PiL, also played with this design theme on "Album," if anyone wants to feel further pegged as old and weird.) Designers Anonymous picks up the thread with this range of Special Occasion T-Shirts. I like the Exercise t-shirt best.
