These are the only girly shoes you can buy that are also eco-friendly. Made of recycled tires and a plywood core, the most environmentally-friendly woods, glues, sealers and inks that she can source are also used.

Made by hand by artist and shoemaker Annie Mohaupt in Chicago, her shoes are composed of rubber soling made from recycled tires. Annie takes care to use the most environmentally-friendly woods, glues, sealers and inks that she can source. The fun part of these sandals is Annie's patent-pending 'strapping system' …a wearer can customize her shoes by changing the ribbons that tie the shoes on. The possibilities are endless
