I felt I needed to recommend something George Carlin related because he died yesterday. I am a big fan of his ever since I first saw his HBO special "Complaints and Grievances" at age 13. Carlin was one of the most influential people in my life and I regret the fact that I'll never get to see him in person. Brain Droppings was the first of Carlin's books I read and although it wasn't as funny as Napalm and Silly Putty it is still something to be treasured. Carlin would probably hate it if I said rest in peace so I'll end this recommendation in a way Carlin might have and just thank him for the good times.
