I absolutely loved this book when I was a kid. Even by the time it was far above my reading level, I still adored it. Even when it was hot outside I read it. It's for a time in a child's life when snow is still magical.
I recently purchased a copy for a friend's 4-year old and he made her read it to him over and over for a week! This book makes an excellent gift. If it isn't already in your 2-6 year old's library, go out a get a copy --- NOW. (via amazon.com)
