My aunt gave me a peppermint smencil for christmas and inserted a 10.oo bill in the little tube thing they come in. I thought they were really fun as well as appropriate for humans of all ages. Right now they are on sale at wishingfish.com for 10.oo for a set of 10, so pretty resonable.

These are probably not the best idea to give kids because they might develop a sniffing problem. On the other hand, I've had scented colored pencils and I developed an addiction to them and turned out fine! They come in 10 delicious scents: cherry, chocolate, root beer, bubblegum, cotton candy, grape, orange, tropical fruit, very berry, and watermelon. I just wouldn't eat them.

These "Smencils" aren't made from wood, but from 100% recycled newspaper. They're also scented, with smells including root bear, peppermint, and watermelon. Great for kids.

The smells are so real you can almost taste them. Made from recycled materials these pencils are housed in their own holders and this helps keep the scents fresh and strong. Kids and adults will enjoy this!

These are stencil pencils with each having their own particular smell such as banana, strawberry or other fruits. I gave a pack to my little cousin and she loved it. A good gift for children.

These are the latest craze at school, kinda expensive but I found this website and you get some for free. Well he uses them all the time but I stole the the chocolate and cotton candy from him! (via Fun Pencils and Erasers)
