If you're still stuck tying laces, you owe it to yourself to get a par (any pair) of boots with the BoA lacing system. BoA is simply a dial you turn to tighten the boot - while you turn, it tightens steel cables around your foot, for a secure and comfortable fit. Ten times easier than struggling with laces - you'll be in them in 30 seconds, max. When it's time to leave the slopes, a quick pull forwards releases all the tension in the cables. The DC Allegiance ups the ante by adding a second BoA dial on the side for added control and better heel hold-down. In Germany they call these the 'Doppel Boa'. This top o the line DC also has an adjustable air bladder (like air pump sneakers!) to customozie the fit around your ankles.
