I was actually going to purchase it when I saw the show in person, but ended up going up home empty handed. I am fortunate enough to have a great brother that knows my tastes and bought me this book for the holidays. It is a Schiele book to end all Schiele books.

Egon Schiele inspired me as an art student in high school. The German Expressionist movement as a whole stuck out for me, but Egon Schiele was among the artists that made me want to draw. His visceral style of representing the human form just resonates with me. It's true to life in such graphic form. I could go on and on about it, but you should pick up a copy and see for yourself.
