Lungs: Florence + the Machine

Lungs: Florence + the Machine - Photo

I don't know why but I didn't think I'd like Florence + the Machine very much, but of course, I do. You'll probably recognize the track "Rabbit Heart (Raise it Up)" but the rest of this soul-filled indie album is really nice as well. Great music to write or work to.

A great find thanks to NPR! NPR did a program featuring Florence Welch, the gritty lead singer of Florence and the Machine. The singer was discovered singing in the bathroom of her local pub and is now a sensation in her native UK. The band's sound is similar to artists like Feist, Imogen Heap and Kate Nash.

The "Dog Days Are Over." Heard this song in my yoga class, and now I am hooked.
