I remember going to the theater to see "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension" with my brother. We had to clear out of the house for some reason. I don't remember why. We figured we see a movie (neither of us could drink... at least not legally in bars). "Buckaroo Banzai"was playing. We knew nothing about it. In fact, we almost walked out of it. We probably stayed because we had nothing better to do.

When we realized that it was a satire and not taking itself seriously, we realized that it was hilarious. "Buckaroo Banzai" is a must see movie. How can it not be with a rockstar, doctor, physicist, and whatever else it is that he is good at. Don't you want to be Buckaroo Banzai

When I was a kid, I wanted to be just like Bukaroo Bonzai, a stylish, space and time traveling neurosurgeon, particle physicist and rock star. The movie stars Peter Weller (Robocop), Jeff Goldblum (The Fly) and John Lithgow (Third Rock from the Sun). Super fum movie! (via Amazon)
