My birthday party was last night and my friends got me the best gift ever. A KitchenAid stand mixer. I'm in serious love with KitchenAid stand mixers. I've used a few in cooking and baking classes before and they've been fantastic. Now I own (or will) one. The only question I have is, empire red or onyx black?

I could not live without my KitchenAid Stand Mixer...well, maybe that's a little extreme. Let's just say that my cooking life would be sub-standard without one. But do I need two? That's the real question, because I am absolutely ga-ga over this lemon-yellow mixer. It would look so fabulous on my black granite counter top! Oh, desisions, decisions!
