Elecom - Gizmodo
Elecom is releasing their chocolate candy-themed $20 in-ear earphones, following on their rosebud-shaped earphones. For some reason, I find these 20Hz~20kHz, 10mW colorful pieces quite attractive, but if you are expecting swedish goddesses to come on the street and lick your ears to see if you are really stupid enough to put M&Ms in them, well, it just won't work.
These are so cute and they should sound pretty good because they're by Elecom. Update: I've had these earbuds for a few weeks (purchased at AudioCubes.com) and I love them. Maybe I'm just easily distracted by shiny things, but I believe that I often pause to admire them before putting them on. They sound good--not as rich as the Audio Technica earbuds I had before, but they fit better. I don't think these have fallen out of my ears yet and the included cord keeper prevents me from getting caught on every drawer handle I pass.
I have been looking for cool ear bud type headphones, and the ones that came with the Iphone are too big to be comfortable in my ear. They look just like M&Ms!
