More than anything, I love the Belle Époque bottle and the fact that the liqueur is made from something so special and rare: elderflowers, which are picked by hand just a few days a year in the French Alps then transported by bicycle to the old-fashioned alembic stills of the St-Germain distillery. The liqueur is only 40 proof, so it's fine to pour over rocks and enjoy the pear-meets-lemon flavor and fragrance.

Just had a St. Germargarita - tequila, elderflower liqueur & lime juice, and it is heavenly! Also tried St. Germain with white wine & club soda for a wonderful spritzer that reminds me of Lillet. This is a necessary ingredient for your home bar.

I love this product -- St. Germain is as beautiful as it is delicious. I pair it with Stirrings Lemon Drop Mixer and a bit of rum... yum!

St. Germain, c'est chouette. Made of Elderflowers from les Alpes, it adds perfumed complexity to martinis, especially those with fresh juice, and to tequila and rum cocktails. And to breakfast, cheris. After all, a liquor named for the most bohemian arrondissement should be enjoyed in nothing but a bohemian manner.

I love this product! The flavor is that of pear, tropical fruits and a touch of citrus. It is so versatile, and goes well with dry champagnes, dry sparkling wines, savignon blancs, and almost any spirit! It is a definite must have for your bar!

Had this for the first time two weeks ago and really liked it in a champagne cocktail comprised of equal parts champs, St. Germain, and mineral water. (via thedelicious)

Daniel at Providence's bar turned me onto this liqueur via his specialty cocktail which also includes gin, bitters and grapefruit juice with a splash of champagne. This pairs nicely with the grapefruit juice.
