"Charlie Bartlett” is a film about feelings of isolation, abandonment, and trying to fit into a world where we feel ultimately disconnected, and obligated to conform to the expectations of those around us.

"Charlie Bartlett” is a highly entertaining film that is never fully comedic or dramatic. It instead comes across as a considerate character study with a worthwhile didactic. This film communicates that we ultimately all feel somewhat detached from each other, and that we shouldn’t wait for the approval of others to follow our hearts

Huge fan of the brilliant Anton Yelchin! Great to see Hope Davis and Anton Yelchin pair up as mother-son again, as in Hearts in Atlantis. Robert Downey Jr., the man you love and occasionally hate but due to his own self destruction, which clouts his brilliance-funny how his character is so similar to his own real character.
