philosophy the present clear makeup
A WONDERFUL PRIMER! I love Philosophy to begin with and this is just another one of their great products. I have sensitive, very acne-prone skin and I can surely say that this product did not break me out, irritate me or add any new pimples or whiteheads. Instead, with just a tiny amount of product (little goes a long way), it gave me smooth, SUPER-SOFT, velvety skin. My foundation went on so easily and throughout the day, i could tell my makeup lasted longer. Kept oil in control. Great alternative to Smashbox Primer. That one made me breakout and it felt slippery. This one makes your skin feel hydrated, as it can double as moisturizer.
My Philosophy is everyone can use a few underlying secrets and this product is all that and more. It is the perfect way to prep your skin for a flawless, youthful face. It will keep um guessing and guessing!
This primer I pull out when my skin is feeling particularly rough. It is a clear silicone formula that instantly smoothes your complexion. I have even noticed it to reduce redness and irritation in my skin, although I don't know how, since it is clear! On a good skin day, I don't need this, but on a bad skin day, it is my best friend!
A friend recommended this product to me and I have to say I was skeptical. I'm skeptical about high-priced cosmetics, about stores like Sephora, and about any kind of magic in a bottle unless it's wine... I went over to Sephora and tried some on last night and I have to say it is indeed magical. I don't like foundation because I have nice skin and it's uncomfortable and I can never find a good matching color and it gets on my clothes. I don't like powder because I have peach fuzz (fine hairs on my cheeks) and it sticks to the hairs and makes me look funny and it dries out my skin. This stuff solves ALL of those problems and makes my skin look much more even. It is my new "It" product and I can't recommend it highly enough to someone who wants to look like their wearing makeup without wearing any. It's like a great moisturizer, not a foundation. And it smells great, too! Lavender!
