I was thrilled that the band got back together to produce an album after what I thought was the end of its career. And Simon LeBon's voice is as smooth and erotic as ever on "Red Carpet Massacre". But this is an entirely different kind of music than Duran Duran produced previously, now influenced by the musical talents of Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. Not the Duran Duran I grew up with and not necessarily better, but a most excellent beat for dancing.
