I know we'll eventually get tired of the bare cement floor everywhere in our loft, and when we do I would love a rug from Nani Marquina. Some of the designs are amazing, like Little Field of Flowers, which looks like the forest's floor, with felt leaves and flowers in subtle shades of green. The rug is also available in red, reminding me of Canada in the fall.

Created by Tord Boontje who also designed the spectacular light garland, a metal lace laser cut to show flowers and other patterns, the rug just begs for someone to dress all in green and lounge on the carpet with a favorite book. (via oO's very eclectic)

what a great find...it's my bag...a fantastic sort of rugs from many tendencies.

I love all of the nani marquina rugs, but "news" by martin Guixe always cracks me up because:
A) It's like the new and improved starburst (hence the name)
B) It reminds me of the Mattel logo

I just love that it's like a bright red announcement starburst.
