There is something to be said about bells and whistles. Sure, an alarm clock that awakens you by saying ‘good morning' in five different languages is certainly impressive, but it isn't all that necessary. And honestly, the thing we care about most when it comes to a clock are the numbers. They tell us when we're late, or on time—for once. That's why the numbers clock is so great. Stripped down to the most basic and necessary components, you can stack and rearrange the time as you please. (via Design Public)

The Open Edition clock is a series of 4 little cubes, each with one of the digits of a regular digital clock, it's up to you to set them in the order that makes the most sense. I wish it was also an alarm clock, I'm looking for something clever for the bedroom. (via TrendsNow)

A new and abstract way to tell time. The set comes in 4 cubes each independently displaying a number. When put in the right order, the time will be displayed.

Looking for a clock that is different from the ones you've seen before? Look no further than this one where the numbers each occupy their own cube and are connected but a single cord.

The clock is a series of cubes, each displaying one glowing number and when placed in the correct order, it displays the current time. We liked the idea of abstracting time and breaking it up into a set of constantly changing numbers.
