If you don't know who David Sedaris is, you need to learn. This book, all of his books is all short stories about his family and his life. Just don't read it in public because people might think you're a little crazy when you start laughing out loud.

I was recommended this book by a friend. Unfortunately, it sat on my shelf for months. But once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. I found myself sometimes laughing out loud in the subway, confusing some fellow riders. Definitely a good read.

If you've never read Sedaris, you're sincerely missing out. His raw ability to be completely real is always stunning and hilarious. This book, maybe the most hilarious of them all.

I first heard David Sedaris on NPR a while back, reading his "SantaLand Diaries." I could not stop laughing because of his vocal intonations, writing style and content. This is now a regular Christmas happening. Since then, I've read all his books and love, love, love the guy, and Amy is a lovable retro babe. Her tongue just about pierces her cheek with irony. If my sibs list weren't already full, I'll ask to join their family.
