3 to 5 quarts a day for optimal hydration...there's nothing like it. Drink the cleanest water you can get your hands on. Bottled water is not necessarily superior to tap water. Neither are likely pure H2O...

Don't sit at your desk and munch cookies. Sit at your desk and sip water. It will be just as satisfying, and you'll think better, longer.

Do filter your water. It'll taste better, and who knows what microbes and black things you'll be taking out of it.

And do keep it handy, in a big pitcher by your desk. OR, get yourself a BIG jug, like a 1.2 litre wine bottle, and swig out of that. You'll look like such a Bohemian poet. Just make sure it's water you're drinking, if you seriously want to finish that novel.

Yes, Yes, Yes! Plastic bottles are piling up in our landfills. Invest $15 in an alum. bottle (Sigg or Klean Kanteen) or just fill up a freaking glass, people. Stop wasting!!!!
