They simply don't build them like this anymore. I was lucky enough to find mine at a thrift shop for three dollars, but I wouldn't hesitate to pay eBay prices. Compatible film is being made independently of Polaroid, who discontinued SX-70/TimeZero film last year.

I am yet to find a camera that captures moments quite like an SX-70 Land Camera can. The results are unique and fragile, so feel as precious as the memory itself. But don't be fooled - just because the images can be out of focus and exquisitely coloured doesn't make you a cutting-edge photographer!
