This is magical. I can't think of a more special/cute/different gift for a traveler! I'd love to drop a note in the ocean and see where it ends up, you never know who will find it...

Wonderful! What a cute kit - and one that would make a great gift for the frequent traveler or wanderer-at-heart.
The kit comes in a beautifully illustrated box, both outside and in. There are illustrated instructions underneath the lid. It comes with
1 Glass bottle
1 Cork, which fits in the bottle, of course
2 Message papers
1 Candle
1 bag of wax pieces
The 2 message slips are quirkily illustrated. One is in English, and the other is in both French and German. They both feature lines for you to fill out your name, date of launching, your message (of course) and even a photo.
You use the wax to seal the cork and keep everything waterproof- neat! You melt the wax pieces in a spoon by holding it over the lit candle (sadly, no matches are included.
