There are few things I love more than silky, subtle pieces of fabric, classic clothing construction, and lady-like luxury. It makes perfect sense, therefore, that I should love Lanvin's Fall 07 ready-to-wear collection.

Composed of sheaths in not-so-basic-black, with electric pops of magenta purple and cherry red, head designer Alber Elbaz channeled Jeanne Lanvin's original minimalist attitude for a look of complete luxury and quality.

The polished look of Lanvin for Fall 07 is definitely showy, but not ridiculously outrageous and unwearable -- as many designer frocks tend to be. (via Style.com)
