Blue Dot has a new collection out that are without a doubt pieces that will be in the design industry for many many years. From the Guacamole Animal Sofa (in big or small), to the Blur Lounge Chair and Ottoman, to the simple yet delectable Nook bed, to the Desk 51 in red, to the Knicker Chairs, to all the sweet Sprout table options, to the Bonnie and Clyde Sectional Sofa…my goodness the list goes on! It is really difficult to pinpoint a highlight of the new line, but I have seen the Real Good Chair featured in numerous design centric spots so it may be in the forefront as far as being the spokes person/chair for the new collection. Good show, Blu Dot. Good show. (via Design Public)

An interesting take on a piece that unconventionally falls somewhere between a desk chair and a dining chair, the Real Good Chair is made from very thin powder-coated steel that is perforated to bend to your needs. The piece ships flat, and the experience takes assemblage to a whole other place.

just like the name describes! this comfy design is made out of laser cut steel, shipped flat, and really epitomizes the ideals of modern design, quirky and ingenious, a great chair for both looks and functionality.

For $99 you cannot beat this chair. Crisp lines, bright colors, quirky panelized look. Bludot has created an affordable chair by utilizing flat pak and CNC machining to great affect.
