The bed is essential for the bedroom. Beckley company is my favorite purveyor for mattresses such as this Lambs Wool mattress. They are also great at custom mattresses. An interesting fact- they can recreate a mattress you bought from them in 1940 by checking their archive of receipts. (via Elements of Living magazine)

I purchase a Beckley horse/hog hair mattress in aug 09. It had a distinct barn/straw odor, which filled my bedroom and did not dissipate. I complained and company refused any refund but replaced it with a lambswool filled mattress; same problem...same odor.
So if you call-in to order one of these, you can leave off the last ´S´ for.... Stable......phew!
