With so many of my gadgets eating batteries for breakfast, I've switched to using rechargeable whenever I can, but that means that I need to add a battery charger to the growing list of items I carry with me when I travel anywhere.

USBCELL are rechargeable NIMH AA batteries that flip up to show a USB plug, which means you don't need to carry a charger around, and you can suck power from the nearest computer. I'm going to add these to my backpack as soon as they become available in the US. (via oO's very eclectic)

Innovative. But How many people really use batteries anymore? TV remotes - fine. But Cellphones, laptops, mp3 players, all come with their own charging stuff, right? It would be cool if there was, like, a universal charger for phones and players, torches, etc.

That is an excellent product, and for someone with a young child, being able to recharge batteries whilst away would mean the difference between sanity and insanity... Thanks for sharing
