With so many of my gadgets eating batteries for breakfast, I've switched to using rechargeable whenever I can, but that means that I need to add a battery charger to the growing list of items I carry with me when I travel anywhere.

USBCELL are rechargeable NIMH AA batteries that flip up to show a USB plug, which means you don't need to carry a charger around, and you can suck power from the nearest computer. I'm going to add these to my backpack as soon as they become available in the US. (via oO's very eclectic)

Absolutely brilliant!

Steve has lost so many battery chargers overseas, and even had a few blow-up or go full nuclear meltdown. Finally, a perfect solution that doesn't require one more thing to pack and lug around!

The USBCELL are a pair of rechargeable NiMH AA batteries that are able to be used just like normal batteries and can be recharged by plugging them into your computers USB port. These are great for so many reasons. Since they are reusable you are eliminating trash and other waste related to disposable batteries. When you travel you don't need to bring tons of cables and a charger if you use rechargeable batteries, or you just don't need to bring any extra batteries. Now available in the US! Go be green today!
