I had a bottle of Jim Barry's McRae Wood shiraz over the long weekend and it was awesome. Hailing from New Zealand, the McRae Wood had strong berry flavors that packed a wallop and then left a really nice finish (obviously I am not too good at winespeak). Anyway, I drank way too much of it. At least I got a good dose of resveratrol to help w/anti-aging!

I am definitely going to get some more bottles. Great to drink w/dinner of by itself. Plus I love the simple bottle label.

Fantastic wine! The purity of the fruit sets this wine a part from the sea of sugary, peppery crap that is the current shiraz market
