I am not a math person. I disliked it as a kid and I've never liked it since. That's why fingers and toes were invented. If I need to do math, I don't even bother trying to "figure it out". I grab the nearest calculator. I won't even try to do math without a calculator. And don't get me started about fractions. Don't let this happen to your children! With this simple Simple Fractions set, learning basic fractions is, well, simple. There's a whole block, a block that is made up of 1/2s, a block that is made up of 1/3rds, a block that is made up of 1/4ths or quarters and a block made up of fifths. Rather than having children trying to visualize these concepts, these blocks do the visualization for them. Here's a whole, a half, a third, a fourth, a fifth. Ain't that something? Yes it is.
