So, we went to this little festival called the Circleville Pumpkin Show - or so we thought it was going to be little. Located in the streets of downtown Circleville, it was one of the biggest festivals (in not biggest) I had been to. Attracted to glass, I found this booth with these phenomenal glass pumpkins. Nothing is ordinary about them.
Jack Pine makes them each year with lines and lines of people grabbing what they can. Collectors go crazy for them. he sold out this year by the second day. This photo is amazing, but it doesn't even convey the beauty. Each one is totally different and the colors are so freshly unique.
His website is under construction, but has a few more photos.

I used to purchase these pumpkins myself until I attended the show in 2005. Mr. Pine was such a belligerent arrogant jerk that I would not throw a nickel his way-EVER!!!!!!
Don't buy anything from this glass Nazi. He may create neat items but he is a self-absorbed A-Hole that gives good quality crafters a bad name.
Oh goodness... that's a bit harsh, but you are entitled. I never spoke to him but I did watch the madness around his pieces for a while and did not catch a glimpse of this side of him. I guess I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as we all can have a bad day/week/month. Thanks though for your experience!
