If I could, I'd drop everything, run off to France, and run a winery. Of course, I don't fly, so I can't go to France.
The next best thing? Growing a tiny bonsai vine of Cabernet straight from Sonoma in a ceramic pot. The vines are already 10-12 years old, so grapes come soon! Whether you have the contraptions to actually make wine... (via Dr Vino)

I love this idea as a holiday gift for a wine lover. You can give someone their own Bonsai Cabernet Sauvignon vine. All vines are 10-12 years old and come from Sonoma wine country. The vines will bear fruit but not every year. The vines are sold through the Sonoma Country Winegrape Commission and profits from the sales go to vineyard employee educational programs. The vine comes in a ceramic container and sells for $49.95 plus $30 shipping.
