  I just love it when traditional technics join forces with design - Bilros is a kind of weaving where the strands are tied to make lacework. originally from Portugal, it is also a tradition in Brazil. Design Academy Eindhoven student's + Associação de Rendeiras de Bilro do Morro da Mariana (Ilha Grande/ Piauí, Brazil) StraaT (Silvia Sasaoka e Anton van Dort) does product development always associating the latest design trends with artisans' asociations. It also works as an interchange programe for design students.
